What you can expect:
The property has an upside-down living feel. Entering the villa via the first floor you'll find the main living space. Decked out with a spacious kitchen/dining/lounge area, opening out onto a large balcony, we are confident that we have created the perfect atmosphere for families and couples to unwind. Also, there's a good sized double bedroom with sea views, next to a bathroom, quietly tucked away. Descending the staircase to the lower floor you'll find the master double bedroom with an ensuite shower and access to the pool. There is another good sized double bedroom (which can be turned into twin beds), next to another shower/bathroom. Before going outside to the pool area, you will walk through an indoor and outdoor lounge area perfect for chilling in the daytime. Lastly, there is a sun terrace on the top floor for 'fry time.'
****Phase 5 upgrade has now been completed. The pool area and patios have all been retiled and the lower lounge refurbished with TV and sofa bed.
Fab Location:
- Nearby there’s a local supermarket that caters for all the essentials and a variety of restaurants and bars. Being only 15 minutes’ walk from La Cala town via the beach boardwalk is fantastic for going out in the evenings. But being only 20 minutes’ bus ride from Marbella, costing about €2, keeps your options wide open. We have spent plenty of time testing out these great local beaches and restaurants for you, becoming mildly alcoholic in the process, and we’d be happy to give you recommendations.
- For the tennis players, there’s a free communal tennis court less than 10 minutes’ walk from the house, and a pay-as-you-play tennis club and gym less than 10 minutes in the other direction, where you can receive coaching lessons. And for the golfers, La Cala hosts three championship golf courses to tee off on. We provide racquets and balls but unfortunately not golf clubs.
- You can easily mooch around the Marbella old town and sit in Plaza de Los Naranjos with a fresh orange. If you wanted to enjoy a full day out further afield, you can venture out to places like Seville, Gibraltar, Mijas, Malaga, and Rhonda via car, or in some cases via train (from Fuengirola).
Travels:
- There are convenient flights from East Midlands (EMA) to Malaga (AGP) by Ryanair and Jet2 starting from as little as £19.99 each way on some dates. Car hire from Malagacar.com is very simple and on certain dates it can be as little as £7 per day. Alternatively, there is a train service leaving every 30 minutes from the airport to Fuengirola, where you can catch a very short bus or taxi to the villa. A taxi from the airport to the villa is usually in the region of €45
